Terms of use
Last updated: September 2026
Polipad exists to help you make your own voting decisions. Using the site means you agree to these few, plain rules.
What Polipad is, and isn’t
- We give you sourced information and scores about problems and candidates.
- We don’t endorse anyone. We’re not tied to any party, PAC, or campaign.
- Our scores are our best honest estimate, built from public data. They’re a starting point for your own judgment, not the final word.
Accuracy
We work hard to get things right and we show our sources. But data can be incomplete or go out of date, and people can make mistakes. If you spot an error, tell us at clarity@polipad.org and we’ll look into it.
Using our content
You’re welcome to share, quote, and link to Polipad. Please credit us and link back. Don’t copy the site wholesale, present our work as your own, or use it to mislead voters.
Don’t break things
Don’t try to hack the site, scrape it in ways that hurt it, spam our contact form, or use Polipad for anything illegal.
Our responsibility
Polipad is a free, volunteer-run project provided “as is.” We’re not liable for decisions you make based on the site, or for problems caused by outages or errors. You use it at your own judgment.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when.
